Welcome to v6-s12.com, the new home of Chris' 200SX SE V6 site! The site has a new look to go along with the new domain! I hope you enjoy exploring the pics, specs, how-to's, and everything else the site has to offer.
This page is dedicated to a relatively rare model of the classic S12-series Nissan Silvia, sold in the US as the 200SX. The 1987-88 SE V6 is the most powerful 200SX ever sold in North America. It shares the same engine, transmission, driveline, and suspension with the 300ZX of the same vintage.
For those who are at all confused about the words "Silvia" and "200SX",

The 2004 Club S12 East Coast Meet was held Aug. 27-29 in the Great Smoke Mountains region of Western North Carolina.
We camped in Maggie Valley, and the highlight was driving The Tail of the Dragon on Saturday. The Tail of the Dragon is a rather famous 11-mile stretch of U.S. Route 129 near the NC/TN border which boasts 318 curves.
And we managed to take a few video clips as well:
(right-click Save As.....)
Video 1 (Approx. 4.5 MB)
Taken by me from the passenger seat of one_equals_two's Turbo on a brief run on
the dragon near the northern end to show off his new turbo
Video 2 (Approx. 12 MB)
Taken by Johnnyfive from the back seat of one_equals_two's car
Video 3 (Approx. 10 MB)
Taken by me, running at the back of the pack while we were stuck behind the
infamous red Chevy Lumina that became the bane of our existence, but the
temporary slowdown is the only reason I was able to take one hand off the wheel
and shifter to shoot some video
Video 4 (Approx. 4.5 MB)
Taken by me, STILL stuck behind the Lumina of Doom, as we pass a gathering of
bikers at Guardrail Cliff. Calderwood Lake is far below. I apologize for the
defect in this video, my camera went nuts when trying to adjust to changing
light conditions while recording AVI.
As of September 2003, there are now two black and silver 1988 200SX SE V6's in Raleigh! Early in September a guy in Virginia Beach posted a message to the old Classic 200SX Yahoo Group, wanting to sell his '88 SE. I re-posted the message on Club S12. A couple weeks later, (and after being delayed by Hurricane Isabel) the car was in the possession of my friend Hendrik, another Club S12 member from the Raleigh/Durham Triangle Area.
That week Hendrik and I met in the parking lot of my office in North Raleigh to take these STUNNING pics.
